For Cancer Survivors

  • National Institute of Health-Life After Cancer

    • This booklet shares what has been learned from other survivors about life after cancer: practical ways of dealing with common problems and guidelines for managing your physical, social, and emotional health. When possible, specific information from research with cancer survivors is included.

  • Life after Treatment

    • The completion of cancer treatment offers opportunities for personal growth and new challenges. Join health educator Carol Robl to explore and share personal experiences. This course is three sessions. Please call 206-386-2502 to register for the next available session.

  • Harmony Hill Retreat Center

    • Offers peaceful retreats and events for those struggling with cancer presently, as well as those who have survived cancer.

  • SCCA Survivorship Clinic

    • Cancer and its treatment can have long-lasting or late-onset effects on your body. The SCCA Survivorship Clinic can offer you support, treatment, and education in the years after completing cancer treatment.

  •  Early Stage Memory Loss Program at Greenwood Senior Center

    • For those with mild memory loss issues. Support group meets 1st Tuesday of each month to discuss coping, communication and other areas of concern. Screening with Carin required before participation. Call 206.230.0166 for details.
